What is the difference between zirconia and zirconium dioxid

2018-12-20 09:52 View:

Zirconia mineral materials in nature are mainly oblique zirconia and zirconia quartz.

Zirconium quartz series igneous rock deep layer mineral, the color has light yellow, brown yellow, yellow green and so on, the proportion 4.6-4.7, the hardness 7.5, has the intense metal luster, may use as the ceramic glaze raw material.

Zirconium dioxide (chemical formula: ZrO2) is the main oxide of zirconium, which is usually white, odorless and tasteless crystal. It is difficult to dissolve in water, hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid.

Hafnium dioxide is commonly found in small amounts. The chemical properties are not active, and the properties of high melting point, high resistivity, high refractive index and low thermal expansion coefficient make it an important high-temperature resistant material, ceramic insulation material and ceramic shading agent.

The band gap is about 5 to 7eV.It's stimulating.Relative density 5.85.Melting point is 2680 ℃.The boiling point of 4300 ℃.subdiamond.
